Marmox Shower Seats
Tile-Ready Waterproof Shower Seats
Marmox Shower Seats are waterproof, tile-ready shower seating solutions designed to create easy to install, comfortable, practical and stylish seating in wet rooms, bathrooms and shower spaces. Available in Floating Shower Seat and Built-In Shower Seat options:
Floating Shower Seats
Marmox Floating Shower Seats are designed to create a sleek, wall-mounted shower seat with an open space underneath. This option is ideal for modern bathrooms where a lighter, more architectural look is required.
Built-In Shower Seats
Marmox Built-In Shower Seats are designed to create a solid, integrated seating platform within the shower area. This style gives the appearance of a permanent tiled bench and can be designed to blend into the walls and floor for a continuous finish.
Built-in shower seats are ideal where a more substantial tiled seat is preferred, or where the design calls for a full-width bench, corner seat or integrated tiled platform.

Installation
- Set out the shower seat location and confirm height, depth and width before installation.
- Ensure the wall or supporting structure is suitable for the selected shower seat type.
- For floating shower seats, install appropriate structural supports or brackets as required.
- For masonry walls, brackets must be fixed using the included wall anchors.
- For timber or metal wall structures, a suitable timber frame (blocking or nogging) must be installed inside the wall to securely screw the seat or brackets into.
- For solid shower seats, form the seat so it integrates cleanly with the surrounding shower walls and floor.
- Fix the seat using tile adhesive to the wall and the floor with the project design and installation requirements.
- Seal all joints, corners and transitions using compatible waterproofing tape, sealant or membrane system.
- Apply waterproofing in accordance with wet area requirements.
- Tile directly over the prepared shower seat surface using suitable tile adhesive.
- Ensure the finished seat has correct falls where required so water does not pond.
